End Of Days

- from : Google -
Time really wait for no one. In the blink of eyes, its already the end of days today. For a couple of hours, we will say goodbye to 2010 and say hello to 2011.

What is your 2010 story...anything interesting? There are so many things happened around us this year. Gruesome murders, that memorable World Cup,  celebrities divorce, politics drama, Prince William engagement (hehe) and many more. And I think winning the Suzuki Cup is the sweetest memory to wrap 2010 :)

As for me, I experience lots of things that really open my eyes. Which taught me that this life is full of drama and you have to read between the lines to see the real intention. In an easy words, good and sad things colors my 2010 chapters. I am not gonna share it here because some of it too personal so I better keep it deep down in my heart. Some of it are going to be locked forever and ever, the others...I have to carry it forward because I have no choice.

Anyway, I am not complaining. Whatever happens in this life, just face it because thats the way it is. If you think life is like a fairy tales, you are absolutely wrong. There is no such things...right??

Okay, am I scaring you? hahaha...forget it. Lets leave 2010 with a good feeling and pray for the best in 2011. I am sure most of you plan something tonight while waiting for the time to shift. Well, I hope you have a good time...

That's all folks :)

Family Day

Hello, Sumandak in the house..hehe
I know everyone is so excited because Malaysia win the Suzuki Cup and tomorrow is holiday! I don't know in your area but looks like the weather outside is not so cool. I think the rain will start at any minute and I hope the rain will not down everyone's spirit.

Orait everyone, I want to share our Family Day on the 26 of December 2010, right after Christmas Day. Actually it is called Feast Of The Holy Family. The feast usually falls on the Sunday after Christmas. If Christmas falls on Sunday, the feast will celebrated the next Sunday (please correct me if I am wrong).

We conduct a lot of games. Of course every games, there will be a winner. But that is not the main purpose in the games. It is about how well you can cooperate with your family members and to be aware that unity is very important to build a strong family. The rest is about sharing the joy, fun and laughter with each other...hehehe. Okay lets check it out...

- what are they doing?? -
Melastik (how to say that in english...hehehe). Serioulsy, I really enjoy this game. This game is a must in my village and this is my first time to join it. I don't know how is the proper/exact way to use the tool, I just 'hentam keromoh' hahaha...

- the target -

This is the target. I forgot to ask the distance but for me, it seem very far away...hahahaha

The next game is to build the highest tower using pipes. This game require creativity and cooperation. The organizer provide tools as pipes, pipes connector and plastic rope. So it is up to the family members how they want to build their tower.

- the tower, hahaha -
There also Puzzle games. This game also require cooperation between family members. The fastest family who can arrange the whole puzzle become the winner.  It is not easy you know because the audiences suppose to encourage you but it happens on the contrary. How can you focus when the audiences becomes so noisy...hehehehe

See, most of the games require unity and cooperation between family members. That's why we need to support each other because we need each other. And remember, unity is important in every family no matter what kind of family you have. Without family, we are nothing (are you agree with me?). Do you want to face the world alone?

AFF Suzuki Cup : WE ARE ASEAN CHAMPIONS

- From : Kosmo -

KUALA LUMPUR: The country last night came to standstill as football fans stayed glued to their television sets as Malaysia took on Indonesia in the second leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup final at the Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Jakarta last night.

There were also those who gathered with friends at the mamak restaurants to catch the national team battle it out and create history in the premier regional football competition, and restore some pride and glory to Malaysian soccer.

Supporters went all out to wear the Malaysian team colours of blue or yellow, many wearing the Malaysian jersey to the restaurants just show their support for the team.

In the nail-biting second-leg played at the packed Jakarta stadium, Malaysia defeated their arch rivals to lift the cup for the first time.

In the first leg played at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Sunday night, Malaysia comprehensively beat Indonesia 3-0.

Indeed the interest and following in last night’s match, just as in the first leg at National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Sunday night, was remarkable.

It was a football fever that had not gripped the nation before, probably not seen since the era of Mokhtar Dahari and gang when the national team was not just a regional powerhouse, but also one of the most feared in Asia.

At Dataran Merdeka here, a giant screen telecast the match live, courtesy of the Youth and Sports Ministry, for the benefit of those who preferred to follow the match with a bigger crowd and in a more electrifying atmosphere.

Even in the cyber world, updates by Malaysians on Twitter and Facebook hit an all time high, which started since that glorious Sunday night and peaked hours before last night’s match.

Most, including politicians, changed their profile photos to Harimau Malaya logo as if to show their patriotic support for the Malaysian team.

Wishes came pouring out and Twitter tags were also created at #harimaumalaya and #malaysiaboleh by Internet-savvy Malaysian.

At certain stages of the match, Malaysians expressed their sentiment with some saying “my heart stopped”, “excellent keeper” and “I had heart attack several times over”.

My Christmas Story

I was supposed to write about My Christmas Story today but my head is throbbing like it will explode at any minute. Seriously, this migraine is killing me!

So lets the pictures do the talking today. I just want to say that my Christmas Celebration this year is a little bit gloomy. I mean, Mr. M’s father just passed away and I think it’s weird to be over-happy even though its Christmas Day and you should be super duper happy but...I just can’t.

- Christmas in purples -
This year, my family said the color is purple. It is an easy color because every shopping complex loaded with this color, so there is no problem to look for the dress or clothes. Okay, Christmas is not about new outfit. Mum said, there is no point to wear new clothes when in your heart nothing is change. Means, you still keep the hatred, cannot forgive and forgive. She's right...

We spend Christmas at the church. There is Lucky Draw and a show we name Togung Got Talent. You know, kids are the most happiest person on Christmas Day. You can see their smile from ear to ear...hahaha. Cannot blame them because if they happy, you will happy too :)

- Nemo, Ellen's sweetheart -
- busy, preparing the Lucky Draw -

- Jude, the Magic Man -

- Gegirl, singing Kasih Yesus -

- Just our musician, playing Yujian and Twilight -

- Clinton, showing some talent...haha -

- Magic Man, in the making -

- Phillips family, singing We Are The Reason -

- The G Family -

- Blackberry Phone, pujaan ramai...hahaha -

That Blackberry phone, the hottest stuff on that day...We are (I am) disappointed we didn't win it. Seriously, there are 5000 pieces of tickets inside the box. Everyone have their chance but there is only one the luckiest person...hahaha. Next time lah kan :)

- Sumandak -
- Tanak Wagu -

- Mr. M and Sumandak Kinabalu...hehehe -

Orait barait, that's all about my Christmas Story. Thanks for reading and for waiting patiently for the pictures to upload...hehe

- mums -
Last but not least, a special million thanks to Mums aka Mama-Mama for preparing and make sure everyone got their meal :)

Christmas, According To You...

- From : commons.wikimedia.org -

Every 25th of December, the world welcome Christmas with an open arms. Every wall filled with decorations, shopping mall play Christmas song non-stop, every corner at the shopping mall packed with peoples doing Christmas shopping…

According to Wikipedia, Christmas or Christmas Day is a holiday observed generally on December 25 to commemorate the birth of Jesus, the central figure of Christianity.

 - From : newvistawallpaper.com -
For me, Christmas is a way to thank Lord for what he had done to us the day he was born thousand years ago. HE spread the power of LOVE that becomes the greatest gift of all. And because of His LOVE, He sacrifices Himself for us…

Other than that, Christmas means sharing Joy, Peace and Love with everyone especially your loves one, to forgive and forget. Give thanks for what we have right now, don’t forget to pray for the peoples out there who cannot afford even their basic needs. Remember, this time of year no one should be alone. Go meet peoples to share the joy…

According to you, what does Christmas means…

DOSS Mania!

This is what happens when there are too many ladies in the family. As you can see, we are crazy about DOSS or should we say DOSS mania? The reason we love this brand very much is they offer varieties design of ladies shoes with reasonable and affordable prices. Cute, gorgeous, sexy, simple, comfortable…pendek kata, macam-macam ada. Want a pair of gorgeous heels with a cost below RM20?? Give DOSS outlet a visit…

I am not sure in your area but in Kota Kinabalu, DOSS outlet can be found at Centre Point and Karamunsing Shopping Complex (please add or correct if you know another outlet because that is the only place we normally go).

From Wyne - Gorgeous Ramblings : DOSS outlet also available at Wawasan Plaza

Let me tell you the advantage when there are too many ladies in the family. We simply can borrow each other stuffs because we are ladies (hehe). But when it comes to shoes, unfortunately I cannot borrow theirs. Remember yesterday I told you about being the shortest in the family? Now I want to tell you that I have the smallest foot on planet earth! Just kidding (haha)…my foot is the smallest in the family. Look at the picture below, can you imagine my size?

Naaah, you better look carefully…who knows, maybe I will ask you what is my foot size in Set 2 Question. Don’t guess here, keep the answer for yourself until next week…

Okay that’s all for now. Enjoy your day, keep smiling no matter what and don’t forget to laugh. Life is short so enjoy every moment of it…

Being Short

I am the eldest and the shortest in the family. Believe it or not, my height does not exceed 5 feet. Okay, I am not kidding…that is a real fact about me :)

The world is made up of people who are all different. Unless you have an identical twin it is very hard to find two people who are both the same. Differences in people are generally obvious. People vary regarding their shape, weight, features and complexion.

One of the main differences in life that can be very personal to a person is their height. Someone might feel they are short when they compare themselves to other people and gain an inferiority complex as a result. This is a sensitive issue for them. ( source : Is Being Short a Problem? )

Not for me. I mean, I don’t care for being short. Height is not a problem for me. Of course lah, sometimes when I watch ladies doing modeling…I was like, OMG I wish I have long legs like them. BUT we must appreciate for what we are because the difference can make you a unique person.  And do you know that there also an advantages for being short? I ask Mr. Google, let’s check it out together what Mr. Google said…

1. You can fit in to a lot of stuff like a locker to hide from bullies

2. You can go under houses to clean for a lot of money.

3. You are able to be a flyer in cheerleading.

4. Guys and girls love snuggling with a short person.

5. Short people are better dancers.

6. Being able to do the limbo without breaking your back.

7. People always mistaken you as a school children (it always happen to me…haha)

The disadvantages of being short

1. Roller coasters like tall people.

2. Sorry no slam dunks for us.

3. Short people are more afraid of heights.

4. We don't have our feet hanging over the bed when we are asleep.
Okay, this entry is just for fun. Don’t take the advantage and disadvantage things seriously. What I want to say is short person can wear their height with some pride without worry because attitude is more important then height.

P/s Due to unexpected reason, I will give you the Set 2 Question next week.

The Power Of Love

Hello everyone, I don't know what to write in my blog today because I am still tired. I only have this story to share with you. Enjoy your day and thanks for the support...

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

"No", she replied. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"

The woman went out and invited the men in. "We do not go into a House together," they replied. "Why is that?" she asked.

One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"
His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"

Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success"
