Time is running out for Yong Vui Kong, 22 year old from Sandakan charged with drug trafficking in Singapore.
The last date for him to file his clemency is August 26 and Sandakan Coordinator of the Give Yong Vui Kong A Second Chance campaign hopes to gather 100,000 signatures to be presented to the island republic's President.
Maybe he deserved that second chance because of his difficult childhood and lack of guidance from young and ignorance of the law. Too young to received such punishment, why not sentence him to life imprisonment? That is more acceptable. Forgive me, that is only my opinion.
