Places In Kundasang feat gadisBUNGA

Alright, here is the few places in Kundasang we managed to visit with gadisBUNGA. Actually, I only managed to visit two places with her...the rest she went with my sister Just and a friend. Had to hurry back, my holidays application is not approved due to unexpected things (hohoho). Thank God gadisBUNGA understand my situation. Seriously, being 'short-cut' from your own holidays is totally not a cool thing!!

Whatever...

Okay, forget about that. Here is the few pictures from our holidays...

Our first pit stop is at Desa Dairy Farm which located at the Mesilau Plateau, Kundasang. Normally, the main purpose peoples come here is to learn how fresh milk processed from raw to finish product. If you want to experience the milking session, come early around 2.00pm. The milking session start at 3.00pm.

Although we really want to watch the session, we went there at 9.00am (wrong time my dear...hahaha). We heard that at 3.00pm, automatically all the cows lining up and ready for milking. Is it true? I guess we have to find it out on the next trip (~~)     

YES. Definitely don't forget to try Desa fresh milk. 

Available in two flavors, original milk and chocolate :)  

If the weather is good, you can see the Mt. Kinabalu clearly. Fresh cool air, breathtaking landscape in every angle...no wonder this place is very famous among wedding photographers :)

Our next pit stop is at Kundasang War Memorial, which was built as a tribute for the brave ones. This place has change a little from our last visit. I notice they had make some renovation here and there. Perhaps the most obvious one is at the top level, the Contemplation Garden. I am not sure whether I like it or not. I mean a place like this we should preserve and stick to the original design. Okay no hard feeling, it was just a thought (^_^)

Despite of all that, being here is still a good thing. Take some of your time to think about those who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the future.

Alright, just a short update...

Like I mentioned yesterday, the secret finally revealed (hahahaha). It was a Kundasang trip with gadisBUNGA, one of my blogger friends. I was so excited finally I have the opportunity to meet her in person. All this while we just exchange comments on blog. When she told me about her plan to Kundasang, I am more than happy to accompany and show her around...

However, I was a little bit worried...I mean how are we going to treat each other without feeling awkward. But guess what, the moment I fetched her at the aiport...after greeting each other, we simply talk and talk like old friends (what a relieved). What can I say,  gadisBUNGA is very friendly (^_^)     

Eh, this entry should be a short one! haha...Alright, thats all for now. The next entry will be about places we managed to visit during the trip.

Of Jeruk Nenas And Ramblings...

How are you doing today, think you survive Monday? hahaha...I have a confession to make, I am craving for Jeruk Nenas right now! Anyone out there have the same feeling? (~~)

They definitely have the same feeling with me...hahaha

First of all, thanks for taking time reading My Sabah Vacation Contest. Last month I have this short trip to Kuching....yayyy!! I was supposed to write about it but couldn't find the right time (sobbing). Seriously, I want to write it in a crazy style because finally Sumandak Kinabalu got the chance flying high to the sky (hohohoho). My friend said, I should consider it as my birthday present....Yes, it was definitely the best birthday present from myself to myself :)

Did you notice spiders webs hangings here and there?? lol...Orait everyone, I know its been ages and some of my friends keep asking me where I've been gone. Don't worry, I am still in one piece...hahahaha. I am 'super lazy' or should I say out of words (can you believe that?)

Actually I just finished reading the book 127 Hours : Between A Rock and A Hard Place, my sister bought it. I am sure most of you already watched the movie based from the book. It is about a man called Aron Ralston...

Hiking into the remote Utah canyonlands, Aron Ralston felt perfectly at home in the beauty of the natural world. Then, at 2:41 P.M., eight miles from his truck, in a deep and narrow slot canyon, an eight-hundred-pound boulder tumbled loose, pinning Aron's right hand and wrist against the canyon wall. Through six days of hell, with scant water, food, or warm clothing, and the terrible knowledge that no one knew where he was, Aron eliminated his escape option one by one. The last lines reads...

When we find inspiration, we need to take action for ourselves and for our communities. Even if it means taking a hard choice, or cutting out something and leaving it in your past. Saying farewell is also a bold and powerful beginning.

I am not sure how to relate it with myself but the story especially the last lines quite inspiring. If Aron can found inspiration even in the face of a lonely death then why can I not? The only thing I have to fight here is my own laziness (~~)

Missing From The Radar

I am missing from the radar. Did you all miss me? hahaha...

I know its been ages I didn't do a blogwalking, let alone updating my blog (hohoho). What can I do...my work really demand my full attention until there is a time I think it was eating me alive! Not to mention the stress...Seriously, I nearly give up! If only I can 'walk out' just like that but it is not that easy. So many things have to consider and if I tell you some of the 'things', seriously you will faint! But I am a grown up, in a few days the number will transform from 2 to 3...hahahaha. So I am going to face my journey of life like a grown up lah, what else :) Thank God my family, friends and Mr. M always give me the encouragement that I need and best of all...LOVE.

Orait, I have something to tell you...I have a new home and it is still in renovation but you can have a sneak peek if you want to (hahaha). After blogging for over 1 year, I think it is time for me to have my own domain (~~). Some of you maybe wondering why not buy a domain for sabahwomen.blogspot.com, I will...one day :) That doesn't mean I am going to abandon this blog. Big NO. I will still update it but not as frequently as before...furthermore, I will re-brand this blog (when I have time). My friend said "lari tajuk sudah bah" hahaha... 

Working and blogging with 2 blogs to manage surely will make my life sounds like OMG (hahaha) anyway I am ready for the challenge...

SBC 1st Gathering?

We want to suggest SBC 1st gathering on 19 March 2011 to all SBC Members. It maybe will be a small gathering since we only have 30 members in our list right now. 19th March is the only date that is available for the three of us since Zezebel and her fiance will be getting married on 13 march and will be busy on the date before and after that date. We know that date is still a school holiday and everyone want to be with their family but that is the only best date that we can found available on Saturday. We allowed all SBC members to bring their families on that day. This will be a get to know session for all members, some of you maybe have been blogging for years but never have a chance to meet your blog friend, right?
 

SBC Gathering Suggestion - 19 March 2011

Most probably, we will have a session of ice breaking and one hour session of blog talk. To anyone whose blog had already been reviewed in SBC, you can asked us personally what you don't understand. We also try to arrange some games for kids or karaoke contest so everyone will have some fun. You can also suggest some activity in this post, we will collect all your suggestion and try to decide if it is suitable. Zezebel will be cooking her mee rojak (yuuuummy), chicken soup and some deserts.

Place : SBC Boss Home :), near Sulaman Sentral, Kota Kinabalu. (For safety reason, he will only send the details to SBC members who really interested and can come).
 

Time : 2.00 pm (datang awal pun boleh, tolong Zezebel masak...hehehe).
 

Date : 19 or 20 March 2011.
 

Fee : RM100 per person...hahahahahaha. Just kidding okay. It's FREE but tell us how many people will be coming with you.

If you have a suggestion about the place, activities, date and time; feel free to talk about it here or simply go to SBC website or to PBS (malay version). If there are less then 10 members coming, I think a small cafe or restaurant will be a better place but we will have less activities.

To all SBC members who read this, if you can or cannot come that day, please comment in this post or at SBC website.

Welcome to Jaws Restaurant at 1Borneo (its HALAL, don't worry). Located at the first floor and thats all I can provide you about the location...hehehe. If you are interested and want to come, just go to 1Borneo shopping complex and ask around for direction because this is not a restaurant review (hahahaha). This is about Ellen's Birthday Coverage :)

Orait barait, last week Ellen celebrate her birthday here. As you can see, I am one of her guest list :) Seriously, I am tired that day but I already promise her to come and promise is not to be broken unless you have a very good reason. Thank God I manage to come or I will regret it for the rest of my life...hahaha. Just kidding okay, of course I will come no matter what...

I am glad that I come. We have a good time there, really enjoy the Buffet Steamboat. Spend almost 2 hours eating, eating and eating...hahahaha. I cannot imagine (don't want to imagine) how much fat I collected that day but who cares?? Fat can burn later but friendship is something we must appreciate while we can. Only RM20nett/person maaah,  the concept is eat as much as you can. Furthermore, Ellen warned us not to stop eating...whoever surrender first become the loser >.< I think I am the first one to surrender....hehehehe.

Burrrrrp...super duper full tummy. Its felt so heavy to rise from the chair... 

After the eating session, we planned to practice our voice at the KBox but its full. Thank God...Imagine a group of peoples tried to sing desperately with a full tummy. Kahkahkah...Anyway, I have to go early because I cannot stand the tiredness anymore >.<
