Hello everyone...how you all doing, is it raining in your place? Gloomy in the morning and surely it will rain in the afternoon. Mother nature power, what can we do? For those who live at the flood prone area, please be careful and prepare yourself in case something happen. 

Alright, that is not the main point of my entry today. Seriously, someone dropped a nuclear question in my entry Save Energy days ago (hahaha). I was like OMG! I mean I don't have any skills, let alone experience about the question....hahahaha (laugh again). I am crazy about books but when it comes to nuclear thing...I don't think so (~~) Anyway, I am going to give my opinion the best I can (this one can cost me jumping here and there...hahaha)

To gedek! thanks for the question (@@) I always enjoy his blog! The entries are very simple but speak thousand of words! He is delivering the messages via his unique pictures. At first, I don't understand WHY (hahahaha), but after a while I finally got the meaning. Go check his blog, you will know what I mean...

Alright, alright...I will not elaborate what is nuclear, how it can be produce, where it comes from or whatsoever because like I said before, this is not my skill. After all, you simply can Google it (hehehe). So, can nuclear save energy? Actually, I am a little bit 'kabur-kabur' about this question but I will give my opinion from my point of view...

Nuclear fission, the splitting of a heavy atom’s nucleus, releases great amounts of energy. For example the energy it releases is 10 million times greater than is released by the burning of an atom of fossil fuel. Besides it would take many hectares of land covered with solar collectors, wind farms or hydro-electric dams to equal this power. (source : Alternate Energy Sources)

The growing human population and improvement in lifestyle leads to greater energy needs. Energy demands are growing fast and put a strains on the government to meet the demand. Fossil fuels are not cheap any longer, oil is running out, alternative energy sources are expensive and industrial CO2 emission charges will bite. Right now, the electricity generated by hydro power. What if one day rivers stop flowing, making the hydro stop as well? Do we have alternative power ready in case something happen?

Sounds like nuclear energy is the only answer to the problems because it has awesome power. By using a small amount of fuel, a huge amount of energy can be produce. Besides, it does not produce smoke or carbon dioxide so we can save our planet from the greenhouse effect compare to renewable energy sources such as hydro, wind, solar and biomass. Nuclear is also reliable and produces small amount of waste.

Back to the question, from what I read on the internet (been doing some researh...well, thanks to you again), here goes...If you ask me if nuclear can save energy, my opinion is NO. We can use nuclear energy for electricity, but during my research on the internet I did not see any fact mention or support that nuclear can save energy. My conclusion, it doesn't matter if you are using electricity generated by hydro-electric dams, nuclear, wind, solar or biomass since the only way to save the energy is by reduce the usage of it.

What say you about this? And one more thing, do we really need to build nuclear power plants in Malaysia? Perhaps after this we should debate the good and bad side of nuclear (hahahaha). Anyway, check out Dr. M's blog and read his say on this issue. I don't want to say YES or NO but I must say that he have a good points. My colleagues said, if we don't have this nuclear thing, our country are going to be leave far behind in terms of development and the outsider will think our country technologies is still undeveloped.

Oh my God, super busy today. I don't even have a time to update my blog and guess what...I am addicted to this thing! Thanks to a friend who introduced me this blogging thing. Orait barait everyone, will try my best to visit your blog tonight so wait for me kio :)

Creepy Creatures At Home

Ever meet creepy creatures in your life? Meet these 3 creatures that can be found at our home. I know they are hiding somewhere inside/outside the house, only show their creepy look when the time is right. Hahaha…One of the creature is dedicated to Azura, been promise to her since last year.

Before I continue, please take note that some of the fact, points or whatsoever maybe not true. I mean I write the story without a research but based on what I normally see around our home. In another words, if you doing your homework and stumble on my page SERIOUSLY DO NOT COPY. This is not an article, just a story. Anyway you can correct any facts if you want :)  

Lontugi aka Ulat Gonggok. Yaaaay, look at the long body with thousand of legs. I wonder where it shops for shoes during Christmas Day….hihihihi. Just kidding. This creature is harmless, isn’t it? I will never ever dare to touch it, just looking at it can sent a shiver to my soul >.<

It normally can be seen after the rain, especially in the morning. Maybe it’s the damp that make the creature came out from the hiding place. Who said  only human need fresh air...Hehehe

Whenever we see this little creature around, we will move it to a safe place or track. It moves super slow maaah…we don’t want anyone stepping on it.  

Naaaaah, this one is the notorious visitor at our home! Meet Tongkilamai aka Lipan. Grandma had bitten twice, brother once…We are the boss of the home, I cannot understand why this creature come and bite as it please. We are not hoarders okay. Our home is clean and clear (hahaha), maybe this creature also want to feel the comfort of home. If its raining heavily, be prepared…this creature will appear before you know it. I remember one incident last year during dad’s birthday. The story goes like this…

Everyone : Happy birthday to you…

Sister : Tongkilamaaaaiii!!!

Everyone : Manaaa??? (where?)

Can you imagine the chaos? Hahaha…everyone ends up looking for that notorious visitor. Nobody want to touch the food unless we found it! Thank God, we found and send it to rest in peace…we are not a killer, we only want to protect ourselves >.<      

Last but not least, meet Kumbang Goliat (according to Mr. G, correct me if I am wrong). Is it Kumbang Kotoran or what? When we were in our tender age, the grown up said this creature likes to move dirt. I found this creature on top of box, laying face up. My brother said, it been there for almost 2 days. Haaaahhh….!! And nobody have the sense to move it?? Poor little creature but I didn’t have the courage to touch it…look at the strong legs, imagine it grip your skin. Lastly, I give my brother a strict orders to move and let it go…hahahahaha

Orait barait, there goes my creepy creatures story. I hope you enjoy my bla bla bla and the pictures as well :)

Malware Attack!!

Seriously, that malware things done a terrible damaged to my computer!

It was so scary and I couldn't believe that I had to deal with it. I will have to be extra careful in the future.

I know my blog is OK and I don't know what the hell had happened but most of the widget things have to go for precaution...sob sob

I was like OMG because cannot update my blog and I miss reading your blog aka ramblings (hehehe) but things have to cool down. I hope all will be fine next week...

Weekend Ramblings

This is just a weekend ramblings because I have been grounded. Hahaha…

Seriously, I have to spend my entire weekend on bed. I was like OMG, why this had to happen to me on the wrong day. I was supposed to attend a school reunion at the beach this afternoon. It’s been ages I didn’t see my ex-classmate, I miss them and want to know what’s going on with their life. Of course some of us keep in touch via facebook but that’s not enough. It was like talking to a machine, the machine responds to you but there is no connection or expression there...

The truth is I am not feeling well. Remember on Monday I said that I am not feeling well? This is it…It start with a flu, one thing leads to another. Now I am coughing, it makes my throat sore. I had a headache too because I coughed too much…God help me, I just hope they will not mad at me for not coming. Because I promise and now I feel guilty for not keeping my promise. I can go, if I want to but I am thinking about the consequence later. It is hot at the beach, it will make my condition worsen.

I felt lonely at home. I want to read but it’s hard to concentrate so I end up watching Britain’s Next Top Model. Seriously?? Hahaha…I am not the type who is crazy about fashion. In fact I am ‘color blind’ about fashion. I just wear what is comfortable and suitable for me. I enjoy watching this show because of the nonstop drama. Just imagine a group of contestant with a different background living in one roof. It is not easy to become a model. Even you have a perfect body and face, that is not enough. You must have a strong character and personality. I also learn that when someone criticizes you, take it and improve yourself. Be tough, the most important thing is learn how to handle it.

I am going to ask you, if someone criticizes you, are you going to cry and hiding or handle it professionally? I have meet lots of people who doesn’t want to be criticizes. They only want to hear a good thing about them which is annoying because they are not good as they think. It was also irritating because if you tell them the truth, they will start to rebel. Seriously, how are you going to improve yourself when you don’t want to be criticized?      

Enough of my ramblings. I am bored to death because I got nothing to do and I know you are bored too but thanks for reading. Hehehe…

I am at home, enjoying the comfort of home. How about you, still fighting with the traffic jam?? I went to work by bus. Traffic jam or not, the bus driver always found a solution for it...hahahaha

Okay, I am trying to update and reading friends blog but my broaband is working like an old machine. The coverage is unstable and I am doing my best to control my own temperature or I will end up crashing the poor broadband. Just kidding... 

By the way, I got two awards today...thanks to Si Biskut and Kay. I will post an entry about this awards tomorrow, I PROMISE ^ ^  

And I am thinking about a new blog's template, will work about this one too tomorrow...

Blogging Vs Income

Halo, halo everyone…

Recently, nearly most of the bloggers talking about this one issue. Okay, I am still new in Blogger area and maybe not qualified to talk about this issue but just imagine that what are you going to read next was just a ramblings…deal?

Seriously, are you blogging just for fun or are you blogging for income? Sincerely, I am blogging just for fun. Writing, sharing whatever crossed my mind. Nothing serious, just simple things that happen in my daily life. Before I join Blogger, I am blogging like a mad woman at Yahoo 360. Hahahaha…Okay I am not joking, I am serious about it. It was very devastating they shutdown the web and change it to something not-so-friendly web. They promise they will make it just like Yahoo 360 and I guess they forgot their promise because nothing happen until now. That’s why I switch to Blogger (with an encouragement from a friend) because I am tired of waiting.

After spending 10 months here, I said to myself ‘welcome to the real bloggers area’. Here, you will learn the ‘sepak terajang’ in bloggers world. One thing I learn, the more you become famous so is your haters. I am not famous but I read this in someone’s blog. I was like OMG! Can that really happen? I am scared and pray that no one will hate me here…hahahahaha

I said that I am blogging just for fun but why do you see ads (advertisement) on my blog? Yay..I am only human and full of curiosity. I want to see how much I can gain from blogging. Good news, for the past 10 months I didn’t gain anything from it. I don’t even understand how the ads works. Lol…Embarrassing but I am not ashamed to admit it. Maybe I am not serious about that ads. If someday I can make side income from my blog then I will accept is as a bonus. Who doesn’t want a side income?

Yes, that’s the issue I am talking about. Everyone wants to make money from their blog. But please do it in a proper way. I am not playing saint here. God give us Wisdom so we can use it to compare between Right and Wrong. The news about this one way traffic been floating and sharing by the other bloggers. I am not an expert to explain this, sorry looks like you have to Google about it. They said, they will leave a link in your chat box (there is a software for doing this) and if you click the link, the credit is for them. Means the traffic in your blog will not be count, only their traffic will count. Seriously, where is your self esteem?

If you really blogging as an income, work hard for it. Prove that your blog and yourself deserve it. Not by manipulating the others so you can filled your account. Some of the bloggers already deleting their chat box regarding this issue. I didn’t have the guts to delete mine because most of them are genuine peoples. For those who want to take advantage or manipulate my chat box, let them…I believe in what you give, you will get it back. It is a little bit annoying and disappointing but whatever…

As for me, I will keep blogging because I am truly enjoying this. Reading others blog is also fun and interesting. Who knows, one day I will get paid for my entry. Hehehehe…

Canopy Walkway at Poring Hot Spring, Ranau

Have you ever try canopy walk before?

Welcome to Canopy Walkway at Poring Hot Spring, Ranau.

This canopy walkway is a must visit for anyone who ever sets foot in Poring Hot Springs. Take a stroll amidst the lush canopy of the Menggaris tree~king of the forest. The walkway is 157.8 meters long and 41 meters high.

I must admit that I am terrified of height. But I challenged myself to do it, actually this is the second time I walk through the canopy. If I survived the first try, why not this second time? lol…

 

The reason they built this walkway was to provide an opportunity or to experience the wildlife that can be found up there. However, it is not our lucky day because we didn’t see any creature roaming around the tree.

If you wish to take a break and enjoying the view of rainforest surrounding, they provide a surveillance deck. Take your time but don’t take too long, everyone is waiting for their turn.   

At one point, I nearly gave up. I was like OMG, can I even finish this? My fiancé, brothers and sisters keep teasing me from behind. I was in the middle of the walkway, so there is no turning back. The only option was to continued and praying that the walkway will not crash. Hahaha…

~ End of torture...lol ~

I don’t even know what I am doing up there. Seriously, you are supposed to enjoy the lavish view but the only thing that wandering in my mind was to finish it ASAP.  I heard a couple of tourist said, "this is a nightmare". Hahahaha…        

Moral of this story~if you are afraid of heights then do not attempt this Canopy Walk or you will be at risk of getting stuck.

But believe me, terrified of height or not…the experience was worthwhile, almost exotic!
