RON97 Petrol Prices Increase Again

Mr. Turtle, RON97 prices increase again. What say you?

According to a credible source, RON97 petrol prices increase again starting tonight (or is it last night?). The new price is RM2.70 per liter (@@). If you want to confirm it, just go to the nearest fuel station (hehe). I wonder how Mr. M will react to this news and I cannot wait to break the news to him first thing in the morning (hahahaha). Before this, I asked him hundreds of times, what is wrong with RON95 petrol? I mean RON97 price is already sky rocket but he still refuse to use RON95.

Man, always know how to answer. He said to me, what do you know about fuel and engine stuff (~~) of course you still can use the car here and there but the power is not enough (he explain to me something like that...hahaha). When the power is not enough, you need to use more fuel. Especially when you 'balik kampung' and your car need to 'naik bukit'. So compare to RON97, it is pricey but actually you can save more if you use it. I was like...hah??!! Seriously, I am 'pening' with his explaination (hahaha)

After this, a journey will become pricey...hohoho

Whatever lah boss, you are the one driving the car. But don't complained to me if the car 'kuat makan minyak' like you always do (see, hehehe). But seriously, one more time he complained but still refuse to use the economical one, I myself will fill the tank with RON95. lalalala...

PS : Is it good night or good morning...hehehe

April Fools' Day

April Fool's Day? I don't think so...

April Fools' Day is celebrated all around the world on the April 1 of every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day where everyone plays all kind of joke and foolishness. The day is marked by the commission of good humoured or funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc. (source : Wikipedia)

When I was young, I thought April Fools Day is something funny and a day where we can play all kind of jokes to our friends or family members. And seriously, I thought it is OK and a must too to ‘gotcha’ someone with a hoaxes. But nowadays, I think it is not funny anymore...maybe irritating is the suitable word. Especially, when the jokes become excessive, cruel and sometimes end up with a fight, injury or worst…death.

Of course, sometimes we need to have some fun otherwise you are willing to live a dull life. Just a light humor is OK to me but when your jokes become too much until the jokes is not a joke anymore but turns out insulting peoples, that is not acceptable. Imagine, someone is insult you with a joke and everyone is laughing at you as they thought it is funny but deep down in your heart you were hurt. Believe me, if you fled (doesn’t matter if you were in tears or not) from the scenario they audience will laugh even more especially the person who ‘gotcha’ you. It only adds to the feeling of humiliate, hurt, embarrassment…

Each year, the gags become more and more extreme. Before this, we only jokes about there is something on our friends head, the socks is not matching, there is a hole on the pants…something like that. Now, you are calling your friend that her house is on fire. Your friend make a haste, speeding home only found out later that it is just a prank calls! If something happen to your friend during her speeding home, can you forgive yourself for it? Seriously, that is a sick joke.

In my humble personal point of view, this April Fools’ Day is not appropriate or should I say contrary to our eastern culture. We already have a beautiful culture, why we must taint it? Alright, don’t get me wrong I didn’t say that we cannot joke. You, me...everyone of us can. I myself enjoy laughing very much since laughter is the best medicine. Furthermore it can help you to look younger (hahahaha). And it is up to you about this April Fool's Day thing. However please keep in mind, we can joke but there are limits for us as a cultured person. Avoid a joke that can disgrace or sensitive to others.

PS : Happy Friday everyone…

Zidane The Greatest Player Ever

Sumandak in the house :)

Orait barait, I have lots of work to be done but I cannot help myself to share the video. Actually I am looking for a catalogue when I saw this (hahahaha) and I don't know why but it help me to smile...

Zidane The Greatest Player Ever Destroying A Goalkeeper

On March 29, YouTube is buzzing with images of French football player Zidane showcasing his skills; the video has attracted an average of more than one million views per day over the last five days.

The video, titled "Zidane The Greatest Player Ever Destroying A Goalkeeper," was added on March 23 and, as of 11am (GMT+1) March 29, had attracted 5,567,280 views, causing it to rise to second place on YouTube's "most watched" chart.
In the video, retired French footballer and World Cup winner Zidane, who currently advises Real Madrid, shows off his skills in a training session. After being passed the ball in the penalty areaZidane, takes it past the diving goalkeeper, twice, before chipping the ball over the hapless player's head into the goal.
YouTube statistics show that the video is one of this week's most discussed globally and one of the most viewed throughout Europe, parts of Asia and areas of the Middle East(source : yahoo news)

Naaah, he is on the spotlight! I am quite disappointed when he retired after the 'ugly' incident years ago. That 'headbutt' thing, the red card at the very crucial moment is so devastating. BUT if I am in his shoes, I think I will do the same thing...Whatever, Zidane is one of the greatest players on planet earth. For me, he is the one and only but then all the greatest players are great in the class of their own...

Now you know I am Zidane's fan, don't ever try to mention the 'headbutt' thing to me or else (hahahaha). Just kidding...orait lah, got to go. See you all later :)

PS : Keep smiling...

A Nuclear Landed On My Blog!

Sumandak in the house :)

Hello everyone...how you all doing, is it raining in your place? Gloomy in the morning and surely it will rain in the afternoon. Mother nature power, what can we do? For those who live at the flood prone area, please be careful and prepare yourself in case something happen.

Alright, that is not the main point of my entry today. Seriously, someone dropped a nuclear question in my entry Save Energy days ago (hahaha). I was like OMG! I mean I don't have any skills, let alone experience about the question....hahahaha (laugh again). I am crazy about books but when it comes to nuclear thing...I don't think so (~~) Anyway, I am going to give my opinion the best I can (this one can cost me jumping here and there...hahaha)

To gedek! thanks for the question (@@) I always enjoy his blog! The entries are very simple but speak thousand of words! He is delivering the messages via his unique pictures. At first, I don't understand WHY (hahahaha), but after a while I finally got the meaning. Go check his blog, you will know what I mean...

Alright, alright...I will not elaborate what is nuclear, how it can be produce, where it comes from or whatsoever because like I said before, this is not my skill. After all, you simply can Google it (hehehe). So, can nuclear save energy? Actually, I am a little bit 'kabur-kabur' about this question but I will give my opinion from my point of view...

Fissile atoms contain vast amounts of energy
Nuclear fission, the splitting of a heavy atom’s nucleus, releases great amounts of energy. For example the energy it releases is 10 million times greater than is released by the burning of an atom of fossil fuel. Besides it would take many hectares of land covered with solar collectors, wind farms or hydro-electric dams to equal this power. (source : Alternate Energy Sources)

The growing human population and improvement in lifestyle leads to greater energy needs. Energy demands are growing fast and put a strains on the government to meet the demand. Fossil fuels are not cheap any longer, oil is running out, alternative energy sources are expensive and industrial CO2 emission charges will bite. Right now, the electricity generated by hydro power. What if one day rivers stop flowing, making the hydro stop as well? Do we have alternative power ready in case something happen?

Sounds like nuclear energy is the only answer to the problems because it has awesome power. By using a small amount of fuel, a huge amount of energy can be produce. Besides, it does not produce smoke or carbon dioxide so we can save our planet from the greenhouse effect compare to renewable energy sources such as hydro, wind, solar and biomass. Nuclear is also reliable and produces small amount of waste.

Back to the question, from what I read on the internet (been doing some researh...well, thanks to you again), here goes...If you ask me if nuclear can save energy, my opinion is NO. We can use nuclear energy for electricity, but during my research on the internet I did not see any fact mention or support that nuclear can save energy. My conclusion, it doesn't matter if you are using electricity generated by hydro-electric dams, nuclear, wind, solar or biomass since the only way to save the energy is by reduce the usage of it.

What say you about this? And one more thing, do we really need to build nuclear power plants in Malaysia? Perhaps after this we should debate the good and bad side of nuclear (hahahaha). Anyway, check out Dr. M's blog and read his say on this issue. I don't want to say YES or NO but I must say that he have a good points. My colleagues said, if we don't have this nuclear thing, our country are going to be leave far behind in terms of development and the outsider will think our country technologies is still undeveloped.

PS : gedek! You really make my day (hahaha)...
